Hail to the Cheif

I was so happy to hear that Obama was elected. I was one of the people who rushed Franklin St. The Inauguration made the feeling even better, it solidified it. For the first time I can remember, I believe in our President as both an honest and upright men. He has the genes of our founding father's coursing through his veins; a man for the people, by the people. This does not mean he will not abuse his power, or screw up. It also does not mean that bad things don't happen in the world. Could Bush have stopped Hurricane Katrina? No, but he could have tried acting more efficiently...maybe? I have high hopes for the American future, hopefully soon we will see that gas and fossil fuels and our consumption are crippling the earth, and we will find a way to live better. Aretha Franklin was kick ass. And my favorite quote was "You will be measured by what you can build, not by what you can destroy."
~Barak Obama
